Fellow Readers,
In 2013 ihave found that reading has been a struggle. Not the words and language or anything along those lines, but actrually sitting down and reading. This sstarted simply because I couldn't find the right book for me. Now i have finished a three hundred and two paged book. I feel that I am back on track. I will cotinue to follow my goal of reading fifty one books in 2013 and keep you posted.
I'll keep you posted,

Well i have to go read! I'm at a good part. I won't ruin it for you.....

Thea, the professional liar.
Hey everybody, sorry I haven't written anything lately I've been busy, doing what you ask well reading of course! To prove I've been reading a lot let me tell you how many books I've read from January to present day………42! Still don't believe me? Well why don't I recite some of them for you?
-how to ruin a friendship
- chicken soup for the teenage soul
-the library card
-the cool crowd
All of these I remember giving them at least 5 stars! If you put all the stars of the year's stars together you couldn't count them all!
The next book I'm reading is "the book of one hundred truths" I have already started and I think I'm up to chapter 3. It's a very good book so far. And I'd suggest reading to anyone! I like it because Thea is the same age as me. 12 going on 13. Thea is natural liar. And her mom gives her a special notebook to write in. The book of truths. She says if Thea writes in it about 4-5 times in the notebook then shell have One hundred truths by the time gets back home from her grand parent's house where she's staying for three weeks during the summer. Theodora is really looking forward to a nice relaxing summer at her neanna and granda's house. She has been taking a plane to the ocean side since she was six! Truth#1: My dad is terrible at good byes. But her relaxing summer at neanna and granda's cottage Of a house is not how she expects, all her cousins ages 7-17 are staying this time. Even her favourite room is taken. She now has to share the attic with 7 year old Jocelyn. Find out what happens in this wonderful story and go to "Amazon.com" where you can buy the book for $5.60.
Well, this was clevercass updating you on my literacy life!

Hey, Everybody!
It's Cass again. It's 2012 and I'm reading up a storm! 27 books so far! M y goal this year is 52 books by December 31st. So far half way there. I've read some great novels this year that I hope you'll try out.
Try reading the six book On The Run series by Gordon Korman. An easy read about a sister and a brother try to prove their parent's innocence after they were framed. They go all around the United States looking for clues and runing from a vicious killer. It keeps you at the edge of your seat if you are nine and up.
Try out these books and You'll be busy for at least a week!
Adios,
Cass

20 books so far!
Ever heard of a book called Stranded or Where I'd like to be or Here today? Well I have and I read them this year, along with 17 other books. These are probably my favorites this year. Stranded is good if you like whales the story line is well thought out. Koby is in love with the ocean but her mom has been worried about her since she lost half her leg in an accident I bet you know why. Where I'd like to be is good too, if you didn't read much this book would make you want to. Maddie has lived in a foster home since Granny Lane couldn't take her anymore and in the couple years that she's lived there she's never met any one like Murphy. Here today is also a good book and I put it last for a reason. I really enjoyed the story of a young girl holding her life together.
And that's just a start for 2010! If you remember my goal is 52 books this year, bye!!

I like to read, who doesn't?
Welcome to my Blog! I had the idea of making this because I love reading and I thought some other people might too. People might say that they don't like reading but they should give it a try or two.
Some tips:
Make sure the books you're reading are in your level - I like to read the back of the book, if it seems interesting, read the first page. If the first page seems good the rest of the book probably will be too.
If you're wondering what to do with a book you don't seem to like, you should just leave it and find another. Some times I just read the last few pages. It might tell you the ending and make it more interesting.
You should try a whole bunch of different kinds of stories. This way you can figure out what you like most.
It's a good idea to keep a record of the books you read. That way you know how many you've read and you don't need to worry about accidentally re-reading.
I'll keep you updated about the books I read in 2010 See you next year!
